About Inside Cuisine
Inside Cuisine is the taste and travel site of Sydney born Rebecca Varidel. Guest authors (from celebrity chefs, food producers and farmers, and travellers) share experiences, insights and recipes. Inside Cuisine takes a peek behind Australian kitchen doors at home and in restaurants, and takes you on a journey of food and travel adventures, in Sydney, around Australia and around the World.
We’re always adding new recipes like Luke Nguyen’s Pho, Chef Alessandro Pavoni’s Risotto Masterclass, Chef Justin North’s Confit miso blue eye, cuttlefish, cauliflower and buckwheat, Annabel Langbein’s The Ultimate Chocolate Cake from her ABC TV Series The Free Range Cook or Chef, Restauranteur and Columnist Stefano Manfredi’s Roast Beets with Walnut Salsa as well as our view on the best in eating out, news on the latest cookbooks and more.
Inside Cuisine was included in the Spotlight on FOOD BLOGS in the 2011 Foodies Guide to Sydney - “Rebecca Varidel seems to live a fortunate life. When she’s not quizzing celebrity chefs, she pops up at the best foodie parties, escapes to fabulous locations or dissects a major foodie festival. Prize recipes from big name chefs only add to the cache”.
Rebecca is a contributor to the 2012 Hardie Grant Eating and Drinking Melbourne, 2012 Hardie Grant Eating and Drinking Sydney, 2012 Foodies Guide to Sydney, and has a monthly recipe column for The Rocks Markets newsletter Sydney. She often makes guest appearances in other media such as radio and magazines, is a Featured Foodie on SBS Food and is the only food or travel personality listed in ALLTOP Australian twitterati.
“@frombecca Well known blogger Rebecca Varidel has an astonishing 33,000-plus followers on Twitter, who she supplies with recipes, restaurant reviews and thoughts on all things food.” The 2012 Foodies’ Guide to Sydney
And in August 2011, we’re pleased to announce, that regular Inside Cuisine writer, Natalie Manning competed in the Malaysia Kitchen Blogger Summit in Australia and won her place on a food writing trip to Malaysia. Well done Natalie!
