


As the announcement of the Australian Young Chef, Waiter and Restaurant of the Year for Electrolux Appetite for Excellence draws closer next Monday night 20th August at Sydney’s glass brasserie, the finalists embarked on a week long produce tour of regional NSW and Canberra capital region.
Preparations are under way this afternoon for the finale of the road trip: the Hunt & Gather dinner in Canberra. With finalists divided into teams, this evening’s dinner will feature produce from this week’s road trip.
The tour was made possible by the Research and Development Corporations: Australian Pork Limited; Dairy Australia; Fisheries Research and Development Corporation; Horticulture Australia Limited; and Meat & Livestock Australia.
