National Stroke Foundation Dinner Sydney

Funds raised at a very special Sydney dinner this week went towards supporting the work of the National Stroke Foundation. Eight Chefs teamed up to present a delicious degustation. Many were Italian as Irish Chef Colin Fassnidge reminded us on the night. So a number of the dishes did have a little bit of an Italian leaning.

Following on was a gorgeous Slowly braised beef cheek in marsala with Jerusalem artichoke puree, black grape salsa hazelnuts and baby herbs from Chef Richard Ptacnik of Otto. This (as were all) was a beautiful dish. Then we finished with a Raspberry Bombe Alaska from Leanne Beck.

With great company and some serious bidding happening in the charity auction, all in all it was a very successful night.
